Biography

I am a pediatric neuropsychologist with numerous years of experience in assessment and consultation for children with developmental disorders such as autism, language delay, global developmental delay, intellectual disability, and ADHD. I specialize in working with young children 1 to 5 years of age. However, I also have expertise evaluating developmental and learning disabilities in elementary-aged children. Further, I provide school program evaluations and attend school meetings with families. I particularly enjoy preschool observations/consultations for parents and teachers who are at the earliest stage of concern about a child’s emotional or behavioral functioning.

I received my M.Ed. in mental health counseling from UMass Boston in 1999. After working for a year as a child therapist I went on to attain a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Northeastern University. I completed an internship at the Children’s Intervention Program at Riverbend Community Mental Health in Concord, NH. It was during this experience that I first developed a love for early childhood therapy and assessment. After graduating in 2005, I completed three years of post-doctoral training in neuropsychology at the Integrated Center for Child Development in Newton, MA.

I am devoted to helping children find their strengths so that they can live their best. I am also a strong advocate for families as they navigate the process of accepting diagnosis and attaining treatments and services for their children.

Your mountain is waiting so get on your way."
